Winners of the Tourist Bar of the Year in 2014 Kytelers Inn, in the heart of the Medieval City of Kilkenny, combines a rich heritage with 21st century amenities and service. Since it was first established by the notorious Dame Alice de Kyteler in the 13th Century, the Inn has welcomed visitors and has provided them with good food and beverages.
Today its menu maintains the proud tradition of Irish cooking and from its taps flow local beers like Kilkenny and Smithwicks as well as Guinness and the Irish lager, Harp.
With live music most evenings and a traditional bodhran session that gives visitors the opportunity to learn the history coupled with a playing lesson Kytelers is a must stop on your visit to Kilkenny.

Heard lots about this place from the tour guide so just had to check it out. So glad we did! Got to participate in the drumming lesson with Damien Walsh. That was a blast! Had a chicken dish for dinner that was amazingly delicious. Highly recommend..
